This study evaluated variates on the research performance of selected colleges in the University of Eastern Philippines using the Accrediting Agency of Charted Colleges and Universities of the Philippines (AACUP) survey instrument for research. Significantly, this study determined and assessed the level of implementation in terms of chosen priorities and relevance; funding and other resources; implementation, monitoring, evaluation and utilization of research results/outputs and the extent of publication and dissemination of research output/results of the UEP researches. Also this study tried to determine the relationship between publication and dissemination of research outputs/results with priorities and relevance; funding and other resources; and the implementation, monitoring, evaluation and utilization of research results/outputs of the UEP researches. This study was conducted at the University of Eastern Philippines main campus. The respondents were the Research Coordinators of eight (8) academic units/colleges in the university that have submitted degree programs for AACCUP accreditation. The College of Law was excluded because this is the only college that have not submitted yet for voluntary accreditation. A survey was done to gather data using questionnaire as a tool. The study employed the descriptive – correlational research design. Descriptive in a sense that it described the variates on research performance such as chosen priorities and relevance; funding and other resources; implementation, monitoring, and evaluation and utilization of research outputs/results; and publication and dissemination of research outputs/results. It utilized correlational design to determine the relationship between the dependent and independent variables. It has also evaluated the level of implementation of the different variables in the study. The statistical treatment used was the weighted mean and the regression analysis to test the null hypothesis. The significant findings of this study are revealed in the selected areas of accreditation for research.
