This paper aims at helping teachers to manage their work with students in the classrooms in an efficient manner. To be a good classroom manager means to know how to motivate children in order to learn. An effective teacher needs to have well drafted skills to plan and prepare the lessons, know teaching methods according to the needs of the class. A good teacher needs to establish positive and safe classroom environment. Also, teacher should be able to create a good student teacher relationship which helps in learning process. A teacher should be able to evaluate the progress of the students. A good classroom environment helps to maintain discipline in the classroom and among the students as well. This paper offers realistic information for the teachers to become well-informed, skilled and efficient in their work. Aspects of affirmative teaching and learning are explored. New and innovative teaching methods can surely change a common classroom into an effective learning classroom for positive change in students’ behaviour and learning.
