As disasters increasingly disrupt economic life and threaten human existence globally, this paper examines the essential steps in disaster logistics and humanitarian aid operations. It emphasizes that well-structured logistics management is crucial for the efficiency and effectiveness of humanitarian organizations, which serve as the relief arm of the global community and the frontline of assistance for those affected by natural and complex emergencies. Specifically, the flood-prone Niger-Delta region of Nigeria requires comprehensive humanitarian operations as a beacon of hope for rescue efforts.
